(IDYDC to open new Vocational Training for OVC in Kilolo)

Iringa Development of Youth, Disabled and Children Care [IDYDC] will soon open a new vocation training centre in Kilolo District expected to be opened early February 2007.
Everything is alright. We expect to enroll many OVC's as we can for quality and better education, said the Executive Director Mr. Phillotheous Njuyuwi?.
Further, the training centre will enroll more than 100 students for all established courses. The institute will offer batik-making, masonry, carpentry, bee-keeping and tailoring courses. Kilolo Distict pupils during OVC Identification
Apart from core subjects, students will be taught; English, mathematics, Home Based Care, ARV's Education and entrepreneurship skills as subsidiary subjects.
However, IDYDC spokeswoman and Vocation Training Program Officer, Ms. Dorice Kiama said the organization has recruited 1 0 new staffs including 13 tutors and 1 matron. Meanwhile she added, all facilities has been bought and are waiting for the official opening.
IDYDC-Kilolo vocation training centre has been constructed in collaboration with IDYDC ?HQ and Clinton HIV/AIDS Initiative [CHAI]. The Vocation training expected to be opened by the guest of honor her Excellency Kilolo's district commissioner .
